Lockdown Drawings
Created between 2020 and 2024, Lockdown Drawings marks the beginning of a visual language that would later evolve into Saudade.
Produced during a period of low productivity, profound isolation and deep uncertainty, these works introduced many of the recurring themes, symbols and compositional ideas that continue to shape my practice.
Looking back, they feel less like a finished series, than the first fragments of a world that was still learning how to speak.
